Thailand comes to Yreka! YEA! One great thing about Natalee’s Thai Cuisine-you can get fresh Thai food so spicy that it affects your vision! Tonight we had the hot and sour soup ordered ‘very spicy’. WOW! It reminded me of that episode of the Simpsons where Homer eats that super super hot chili and goes off on a psychedelic hallucination trip in the desert! The soup was painful hot, so so delicious and a great accompiment to the Orange Chicken special with a side of egg rolls. Don’t be scared - for the more delicate palettes there are many mild choices on the menu.
Natalee’s moved into that funny space that was once the El Rancho at 1235 S. Main Street. We were so hoping when they renovated and moved in that it would be a good restaurant for Yreka and I am happy to report we were not disappointed. The ambiance is not exactly chic but the food is so fresh and delicious that we don’t mind. The fish tank is very cool, the waitresses are just darling and their service is great!
