One Horse Shy

What a busy weekend! Saturday night I was lucky enough to get out to Siskiyou Performing Arts Center (my first time). I know, I know…. I don’t actually get out that much. SPAC on Yreka St. in Yreka is a small, intimate setting for plays and music performances.

Saturday’s headliner was One Horse Shy, an Americana style bluegrass band out of Southern Oregon. All original music done with skill, flair and humor. What a great time! This little production is put on by Tales from the Acoustic Planet. Opening acts were Jerry Rose & Kevin Andras who are flatpicking champs and North of Forty joined by Sam Cuenca on bass.

I totally recommend attending the next production put on by Tales from the Acoustic Planet if you have the chance.
