Here’s installment number two of our local nurseries. Terry’s nursery is the oldest by far. Terry Brown started at the nursery when he was 14 and bought the business when he was 23 and that was some 30 years ago!
Terry has an amazing technical knowledge of plants. If you have spots on your leaves or some weird fungus in the ground, go to Terry for the answer. He really knows his stuff. He’s like our local horticultural scientist! He calls himself ‘The Plant Doctor’.
Terry’s nursery is famous for two exclusive products that Terry created himself. He developed and patented Terry’s Siskiyou Lawn Mix and he developed a 9-9-11 fertilizer that is exclusively sold at his nursery.
Terry has great bedding plants and lots of trees and shrubs and an expertise that unmatched.
