Yreka Gold Rush days are this weekend. Be sure to turn out for this fun event! Here are the highlights~
Friday - Car Show & Cruise Night!
- 6:30pm Show and Shine at McDonalds, Yreka
- 8:30pm Rules of the Road Cruise
Here’s the route so you can find the perfect place to sit and enjoy the cruise:
North on main to Blake, turn left on Oregon, left on Bruce to Main and repeat as necessary (map)
Saturday - Gold Rush Days 10am - 5pm
Events and Features will include:
- 7 - 11am Yreka Fire Department Breakfast
- 10:15am Flag Ceremony
- Live Music - Highly Paid Professionals 10 - 12 and 2 - 4
- DJ Music by Donnie Fitzsimmons 12 - 2
- Miner Street will be filled with dirt! There was not pavement in the gold rush days!
- Street Theatre - Old west shoot out!
- Siskiyou Food Festival - local food makers exhibit their craft and hand out samples - yummy!
- Antique dealers from far and wide and an Antique Appraiser
- Sidewalk sales by local merchants
- Chili Cook Off
- over 45 vendors on Miner and Broadway
