If you are like me and aren’t a huge fan of the traditional 4th of July celebrations because you have a ridiculous fear of fireworks and you are haunted by visions of blown off fingers, severed eyes, houses catching on fire and cars blowing up and you are likely to spend the holiday cowering like a mutt behind the couch during the 4th of July, then you may be interested in the MLE! That’s right, Major League Eating season begins on ESPN with the famous Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest!
