So after the facial I made an appt for a massage with Catherine Virgin. Cathy was really quick to tell me what a great masseuse she is and my first thought was something like, “boy, aren’t you sure of yourself.” But after having my massage I can see that Cathy has really good reason to be so sure of herself!! Wow!! She has great hands! I told her afterwards that I really think that Jesus himself gave her the gift of massage!
Cathy has a nursing background and through an interesting series of events landed herself into therapeutic massage. She says that in nursing, in order to help people she would have to do things that sometimes hurt her patients, but with massage she never has to do anything that hurts and she still gets to help people.
Cathy does what she calls ‘comforting hands therapeutic’ massage, which to me means that ‘it’s just right’! It’s not deep tissue, but Clarity Medical Spa does have a masseuse, Terry Hittson Lynnes that does deep tissue massage.
I’d say Cathy’s style is ideal for people who are sensitive and who just want a massage to feel good. Wow ~ what great hands!
