I saw these guys on the front page of the Siskiyou Daily News tonight and I had to know more. They are part of the Stormtrooper Ranch. Their mission: to dress up like Star Wars characters and support local charity events. This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long time!!!! What a great idea!!! I LOVE it! Check out their website for the 411. This appearance was at the Relay For Life in Weed this weekend.
Apparently the group was started by a group of police officers, firefighters and chefs. Ironically, I was introduced to the comedic side of the Star Wars Stormtrooper by Greg Benson at Mediocre Films ~ my favoritest film producer. Warning - it’s not G rated. The irony is that Greg Benson also produces a series called The Retarded Policman - it’s pretty tasteless with a bit too much bad language, but I laughed myself silly the first time I saw it! The video below features an appearance by a Stormtrooper ~ so silly too!
