I just visited Brian Peterson’s Blog for the State of Jefferson, Double-X Brand Blog to see if he had posted some new musings and to my surprise there has been a flurry of activity over there!! Holy Mackrel! Is it possible that The State of Jefferson movement could have a resurgence?!
An article was published in the San Francisco Chronicle’s online version called SFGate (here) that has prompted quite a response from many California residents and others. Some are just learning about The State of Jefferson and some have a renewed interest in the movement. It’s all very exciting!!
I for one am a supporter! Sacramento knows very little about our area. It’s a completely different world. Same can be said for Southern Oregon. The lawmakers are in the northern part of the state and Southern Oregon operates on a wholly different playing field but are rarely considered in the lawmaking process.
