Found in Siskiyoutopia
Do you know about Found Magazine? I bought a Found book a couple years ago. It’s pure entertainment! It’s a whole book of little notes, pictures, letters and other odd stuff that people have found on the ground and stuff. Welcome to our own Siskiyou County version! So, when you are out volunteering your time, picking up litter around town, or helping your neighbor clean up their yard, or weeding some out of control planters downtown and you find a funny note ~ send it in (email me a photo or scanned image) and we’ll post it. Oh, the only rule is that it be G rated or at least allow some editing (little black bars if needed) so that we can all enjoy it:) k?!

This is a really wacky find, but I have to confess that I did not find it in Siskiyou County. I found it in Lithia Park in Ashland - which makes a lot more sense if you’re even a little familiar with Ashland - trust me, you can not “break their spell” - They are a unique folk (without a clue:).
Found a couple shopping lists today. Was Dan Quail in town? Actually, it’s really fun to say! Try it - “Po-Toes!” I think I could use some handcleaner too after picking up these dirty notes! Try it again - “Po-Toes” :)
I suppose August is as good as any to throw out those long lost Christmas carols. I’ve never even heard this verse of the song Jingle Bells before! Have you? What does ‘upsot’ mean!? what-ev-er! I still prefer the ‘batman smells’ version!
Gives new meaning to the phrase “love letter”. Apparently this person really ‘loves’ their mail! oo la la!
This was found in a parking lot downtown Yreka. It’s a transparency. Was it used in a presentation to elementary school kids or a group of employees??? Makes you wonder…..
Found this piece while picking up litter off Oberlin Rd in Yreka ~ homework maybe?…. either way, kind of sobering quote from Ann Frank’s Diary….
This little note is actually from my neighbors…. they are really good neighbors, wouldn’t you agree? The note was attached to a styrofoam tube stuffed in the gap in our gate. Thanks neighbors!!:)
